We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Banquet Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our banquet operations, ensuring that events run smoothly and guests have a memorable experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of banquet events, including menu selection, room setup, and décor.
  • Manage the banquet staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide recommendations on food and beverage options.
  • Ensure that all event spaces are properly set up and that equipment and supplies are readily available.
  • Oversee banquet service during events, ensuring that all guests are served efficiently and that all dietary restrictions or special requests are accommodated.
  • Monitor event budgets and expenses, ensuring that events are profitable and within budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as culinary and housekeeping, to ensure seamless event execution.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience in a banquet managerial role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties effectively.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage operations and industry trends.
  • Familiarity with event planning software is a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
