Customs Broker

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Customs Broker to join our team. As a Customs Broker, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth movement of goods across international borders. You will work closely with clients, customs agents, and government officials to ensure that all necessary documentation is accurate and complete. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade regulations, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations for all imported and exported goods.
• Classify and assign appropriate tariff codes to goods in accordance with international customs regulations.
• Prepare and submit all necessary documentation, including customs clearance forms and certificates of origin.
• Coordinate with customs agents and freight forwarders to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Conduct audits of import and export records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide guidance and support to clients regarding customs and trade regulations.
• Resolve any issues or disputes related to customs clearance and documentation.
• Stay up to date with changes in customs and trade regulations and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in international trade, logistics, or a related field.
• Previous experience working as a Customs Broker.
• Strong knowledge of customs and trade regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient in using customs and trade compliance software.
• Familiarity with international shipping and logistics processes.
• Certification as a Customs Broker is preferred.
• Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
