Job Description


  • Analysis of Contract, identification and scheduling of contract administration tasks, and appropriate implementation and follow up thereof.
  • Dealing with contractual situations arising, e.g claims, variations, contentious matters.
  • Developing an awareness of interface matters arising between the two EPC-1 contracts and managing accordingly.
  • Preparing situation analyses, suggesting strategy, negotiating and making appropriate recommendations for solution.
  • Drafting reports on project progress.
  • Reviewing and responding to project correspondence.
  • Input to the Risk Management function as required.
  • Input to the Cost Control function as required.
  • Integrated cooperative working with other departments and team members.
  • Assistance with Training, including setting schedules and contents requirements.
  • Researching contractual situations and preparing background material for presentations, etc.
  • Attending meetings, participating productively in meetings, making presentations and taking minutes.
  • Undertaking personal training and development as required by EGIS Rail Company, and fulfilling personal company administration.
  • Working cooperatively within the Contract Management Team and maintaining a good professional working relationship with all relevant parties


Profile


  • Bachelor's in engineering
  • Total Experience: 10 years minimum
  • At least 5 years' experience in contract administration
  • Experience in rail projects is of paramount importance for this role.
  • Familiarity with rolling stock is a minimum requirement and some experience with railway signaling to facilitate interfacing would be an advantage. (All rail experience will be acceptable: Metro, Tramway, Highspeed, or any other rail)
  • Arabic: Native proficiency
  • English: Bilingual proficiency
  • Strong communications and coordination skills
