Junior Mechanical BIM Engineer

Kemet Corporation for BIM Engineering is looking for a " Junior Mechanical BIM Engineer " to be a part of their team.

Job Duties:

• Able to collect needed data for his discipline
• Creating 2D drawings and 3D models from BIM data.
• Assisting in the coordination of BIM models with other building systems and trades
• Conducting basic clash detection to identify and report conflicts between different building systems.
• Collaborating with senior BIM staff and project teams to ensure BIM models are accurate and up-to-date.
• Providing technical support and guidance to project teams on BIM-related issues.
• Participating in the development of proposals and bids for new projects.
• Assisting in the preparation of quantity takeoffs and material schedules from BIM models.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and industry trends.
• Assisting in the implementation of BIM standards and processes within the organization.
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of BIM models for construction projects.
  
  
  

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Good command of Revit is a must.
• Strong 3D modeling & plan reading skills are required.
• Good Experience in Mechanical Engineering (HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting)
• Construction industry background preferred
