Beauty Consultant

Job Purpose

JOB PURPOSE

Oversee the operations of The Emirates Beauty Hub showcasing uniforms, make up and beauty. Provide appropriate and personalized beauty and/ or fitness advice and solutions targeting the needs of the cabin crew, and areas of development offering a seamless experience.

Job Accountabilities Linked To Objective Areas

• Motivate and build confidence in the crews overall appearance and understanding of the image and uniform standards.
• Collaborate with the crew community to provide appropriate and personalised solutions.
• Ensure documentation of accurate records of each meeting including observed progress/outcomes are maintained.
• Review and resolve issues arising from queries and complaints. Communicate areas of concern or trends to the Uniform Standards and Development Manager/ Specialists.
• Stay current with the latest beauty and/or fitness and nutrition tips, products etc. to constantly improve services offered.
• Plan and organise workshops and campaigns linked to appearance in uniform (i.e., make up application, skin care, hair styling, uniform fit and care, fitness and nutrition).
• Ensure reports are generated and submitted in a timely manner to the Uniform Standards team on the events held and numbers of attendees.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations for improvements including new event ideas.
• Maintain and support the database on departments assets, supplies associated with the centre and escalate areas of concern to ensure supplies are monitored and tracked.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:

Qualifications

12 Years schooling or equivalent

Experience

Customer service. Administration. Beauty and/ or fitness and nutrition 1+ years

Knowledge/Skills

• Certified in hair and/or makeup, and/or fitness and nutrition
• A minimum of 1 year experience in customer service
• A minimum of 1 year experience in beauty (hair and/or makeup) and/or fitness and nutrition
• EK cabin crew experience preferred
• Capability to plan and manage campaigns/ events
• Requires knowledge of the image and uniform standards
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment delivering high levels of customer experience
• Have an interest in clothing/fashion and take pride in maintaining an immaculate appearance
• Approachable and empathetic
• High attention to detail
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of computer applications such as, Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
• High standard of written and spoken English and excellent interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
