Murphy have an opportunity for a general operative to join our business onsite at our Ollerton Plant Depot.
What We Are Looking For
- Good understanding of health and safety on construction sites
- CSCS card desirable but not essential
- Happy to be given instructions and a willingness to work well as part of a team
- Be self-motivated
- Work safely and stick to company polices
- Work to and can meet strict deadlines
- Happy to use own initiative
- Basic IT knowledge to be able to log all work though company handset.
- Willingness to help out when required with other operatives
- We are a fast paced department within Murphy’s so able to work well under pressure.
- Main responsibilities will be cleaning of cabins that have come back from site ready for the next hire this includes but not limited to: toilets, furniture, stores, plasterboard, floors, worktops, sinks etc.
- Able to move furniture from the stores into the cabins as per site requirements.
- General tidying of workshop areas and yard.
- Rates open to discussion.
- 39-hour Standard working week.
- Time and a half any hours over 39hours.
