The OD Specialist is responsible for leading and implementing strategies that enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and health of the organization. This role involves working closely with leadership, HR, and various departments to foster a culture of continuous improvement, support change initiatives, and drive strategic goals. This position is crucial in ensuring the organization remains agile, innovative, and competitive.

Key Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Strategic Planning and Change Management:
  • Develop and implement organizational development strategies aligned with the company's goals.
  • Lead change management initiatives to support business transformations.
  • Conduct organizational assessments to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Building Organizational Structures for the Company and Departments, building a salary scale and the resulting benefits
  • Plan to reduce expenses, restructuring existing rules, benefits and systems
  • Employee Engagement and Culture Development:
  • Design and implement programs to enhance employee engagement and organizational culture.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and team-building activities to foster a positive work environment.
  • Develop strategies to improve communication and collaboration across the organization.
  • Talent Development and Management:
  • Collaborate with HR to identify and develop leadership and talent management programs.
  • Support the design and delivery of learning and development initiatives.
  • Implement succession planning and career development frameworks.
  • Process Improvement and Performance Enhancement:
  • Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement performance management systems and metrics.
  • Facilitate the adoption of best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Compensation Structure and Job Grade System:
  • Conduct assessments to understand the current compensation structure and identify areas needing improvement.
  • Benchmark against industry standards to ensure competitive and fair compensation practices.
  • Assist in evaluating and categorizing job roles based on responsibilities, skills, and organizational impact.
  • Help design a job grade system that defines career paths and progression within the organization.
  • Diversity and Inclusion:
  • Develop and implement initiatives to foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion as core organizational values.
  • Consultation and Support:
  • Serve as a consultant to leadership and departments on organizational development issues.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and employees.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and problem-solving within teams.
  • Measurement and Evaluation:
  • Develop metrics and evaluation methods to measure the effectiveness of OD initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of OD projects and their impact on organizational performance.
  • Technology Utilization:
  • Utilize technology and data analytics to support OD initiatives.
  • Implement digital tools to enhance organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree or relevant certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, ODCP) preferred.
  • Min 5+ years of experience in organizational development, change management, or related roles within the IT services or technology industry.
  • Proven track record of leading successful organizational development projects and initiatives.

Work Environment: Typically based in the HR or Organizational Development department, with occasional travel to various company locations.

Tools and Equipment: Utilizes OD tools and methodologies, HR software, communication platforms, and technology for project activities.
