Job Summary:

The HR Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support and services to the organization. They will assist in the implementation and administration of various HR programs, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations. The HR Generalist will serve as a trusted partner to managers and employees, offering guidance and solutions on a wide range of HR-related matters. This role plays a critical part in fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including posting job openings, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and facilitating the onboarding of new hires
  • Administer employee benefits programs, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and leave of absence policies, ensuring accurate and timely processing of paperwork
  • Maintain employee records and personnel files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Assist in the development and implementation of performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs, identifying opportunities for skill enhancement and career growth
  • Investigate and document employee relations issues, such as grievances, disciplinary matters, and terminations, in partnership with management
  • Assist in the development and revision of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and legal requirements
  • Maintain and update the HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing prompt and effective resolution
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address HR-related initiatives and support overall business objectives
  • Stay informed of changes in labor laws, regulations, and best practices, and recommend appropriate actions to ensure compliance
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and practices, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining
  • Participate in HR-related projects and initiatives, as assigned, to support the overall HR function


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR-related role
  • Strong knowledge of human resources principles, practices, and applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels
  • Proficient in the use of HRIS and other HR-related software applications
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with a customer-centric approach
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong desire to contribute to the overall success of the organization
  • Continuous learner, staying up-to-date with changes in HR policies, practices, and regulations
