Chief Accountant ( Industrial Field )

Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our global clients in Egypt. Our client is one of the leading companies in the industrial sector.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee financial management and operations within the industrial field. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial strategy, compliance, and management within a complex, fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and auditing.
• Develop and implement financial strategies and policies to ensure financial health and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and analyse accounting data to produce financial reports and statements in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare budget forecasts, track financial performance against the budget, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, filed, and reported in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors, and assess changes for necessary improvement in financial controls.
• Develop and enhance internal controls, streamline accounting processes, and promote efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and make recommendations to support business decision-making and improve profitability.
• Oversee tax filings, manage tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with national and local regulations.
• Train, mentor, and supervise accounting staff, ensuring continuous professional development.
  
  

Chief Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or CPA certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in a senior accounting role within the industrial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance principles and procedures.
• Experience with financial reporting, budget preparation, and management accounting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in English.
• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and promoting integrity in financial practices.
  
  

Working Conditions for a Chief Accountant

• Working Hours: 9 AM - 5 PM (Sunday to Thursday).
• Working Model: On-site.
