Manufacturing Internship Program

Who we are:

Shift EV is a fast-growing electric vehicle technology company, based in Cairo, Egypt. What we’re looking for:

We seek a motivated and enthusiastic fresh graduate to join our team as a Manufacturing Engineer Trainee. This position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates or entry-level professionals to gain hands-on experience and develop their skills in production engineering within our organization.

What you will do

• Performing time studies to improve production cycle times.
• Plant layout improvements and planning.
• Workplace organization and ergonomics.
• Process standardization and documentation.
• Conduct data analysis and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Learn and adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements in the production environment.

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and solve problems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude towards learning and professional development.
• Prior internship or co-op experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with engineering software is a plus.
