SearchPlus HR, a well-established human resources consulting firm, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our team. As a Specialist/Consultant Gastroenterologist at SearchPlus HR, you will play a vital role in diagnosing and treating patients with digestive system disorders.
As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, performing endoscopic procedures, interpreting diagnostic results, and developing personalized treatment plans. You will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' medical histories and perform comprehensive gastrointestinal examinations
- Perform or supervise endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies, blood work, and stool analysis
- Diagnose and treat various gastrointestinal conditions, such as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and liver diseases
- Develop individualized treatment plans, including prescribing medication, recommending lifestyle changes, and suggesting surgical interventions if necessary
- Monitor and manage patients with chronic gastrointestinal disorders
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of gastroenterology through continuous learning and professional development

- Medical degree
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various gastrointestinal conditions
- Strong knowledge of gastroenterology principles, practices, and treatment options
- Expertise in performing endoscopic procedures, such as gastroscopy, colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography
- Experience in interpreting diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies, blood work, and stool analysis
- Experience in managing patients with chronic gastrointestinal disorders
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex gastrointestinal issues
- Board certification in Gastroenterology
- Experience in conducting and participating in clinical research
- Commitment to patient care, empathy, and compassion
- Excellent record-keeping and documentation skills
- Ability to work well under pressure
