About the location:

Seaside glamour on the Egyptian riviera; with Egyptian underpinnings and a sleek waterfront setting, our resort-style Hotel embodies modern Alexandria and its unique cosmopolitan flare. On one side, the Mediterranean Sea glistens in the sun; on the other, a dynamic metropolis buzzes with life. This stunning resort-style hotel opened in June 2007 and has a combination of classic hotel design and modern and contemporary beach suites and villas. Our hotel is connected to a shopping mall, it has 154 rooms including 31 Suites, 30 Beach Suites and 6 Villas with private pools, a private beach, a sea water infinity beach pool and a heated indoor pool, Spa and Fitness Center, and 10 food and beverage venues including an open-air 350 seat beach restaurant.

  • Implement the 10/5 Rule at all times during work hours.
  • The ability to follow proper payroll and uniform procedures.
  • The ability to maintain and re-lamp all lamps in the hotel, including socket repair and replacement.
  • The ability to install and/or repair electrical wiring for renovations, electrical outlet additions, motors and associated equipment.
  • The ability to provide electrical set-ups for exhibits and conventions including the maintenance of all such electrical equipment.
  • The ability to clean all stations in Engineering and maintain a neat and organized department.
  • The ability to respond to all guest complaints regarding the maintenance of their room or public area in a timely manner.
  • The ability to repair an assortment of electrical items brought to the shop by other departments.
  • The ability to assist engineers on major shut downs for repairs.
  • The ability to maintain logs for all work performed while on duty.
  • The ability to take meter readings, record temperatures and pressures in heating

and cooling plant.

  • The ability to check all mechanical and electrical rooms.
  • The ability to clean light fixtures and shades.
  • The ability to provide preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment, transformers, medium voltage switch gears, generators, etc., and update logs accordingly.
  • The ability to respond to work orders or room inspection reports submitted by Department Heads.
  • The ability to respond to all emergency conditions such as fires, power failures, etc.
  • The ability to replace fuses, circuit breakers, starters, etc.
  • The ability to use specialized testing equipment such as voltmeters, and other electrical test equipment.
  • The ability to maintain and repair circuits for heat, light & power.
  • The ability to maintain a good working relationship with other employees, providing instruction and encouragement as needed.
  • The ability to ensure a clean, neat and organized work area.
  • The ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times to reflect the high standards of Four Seasons Hotels.
  • The ability to do preventive maintenance program for all electrical equipment, transformers, switch gears, generators and to apply all check list points.
  • The ability to handle and report any accident immediately, no matter how minor.
  • The ability to respond properly and professionally in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
  • The ability to report any damages observed within the Hotel area, whether it be guestroom, public areas or any employee housing units through the Engineering reporting systems in place.
  • The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by Engineering Supervisor, management and Planning Committee Members.
  • The ability to inspect all the landscape lighting within one hour during the PM shift
  • The ability to assist in installing or relocating any additional or existing equipment when necessary.
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit. Pull wiring through conduit. Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps. Connect wiring to lighting fixtures and power equipment. Connect power cables to equipment, Install grounding leads
  • Responsible for all electrical equipment status
  • Responsible for daily checks on all electrical systems so that they work at optimum efficiency
