Construction Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee the construction and installation of solar PV projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing on-site operations, ensuring project timelines and quality standards are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and deliver successful solar PV installations.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Supervision:

• Supervise all on-site construction activities for solar PV projects.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety standards.
• Oversee the installation of solar panels, inverters, and other electrical components.
• Monitor project timelines and progress, ensuring deadlines are met.
  
  

Team Management:

• Lead and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers.
• Conduct regular site meetings to review project progress and address any issues.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Evaluate team performance and implement improvements where necessary.
  
  

Quality Control:

• Conduct regular inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies in construction processes.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, construction activities, and project milestones.
  
  

Safety Management:

• Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct safety meetings and training sessions to educate staff on safe work practices.
• Investigate and report any accidents or incidents on the construction site.
  
  

Coordination and Communication:

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
• Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management.
  
  

Resource Management:

• Manage construction materials, equipment, and labor to optimize resource utilization.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to the site.
• Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
  
  

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  
  

Experience:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction supervision, with at least 3 years in solar PV projects.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering large-scale solar PV installations.
  
  

Skills:

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of solar PV installation processes and best practices.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
