ELV Maintenance Manager

Job Introduction

Manage a multicultural team of Engineers and Technicians to handle small to large scale Electronics Security Systems maintenance projects. Handling clients and escalations by providing a technical and commercial solution. Growing the accounts and the overall department revenue in association with Sales and Presales considering current Business Development plans.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for day to day delivery of maintenance services for Low current systems like CCTV Surveillance Systems, Electronic Access Control Systems etc. specifically preventive/predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance and performance improvement for automation assets observing work plan compliance to achieve equipment optimization.
• Own the technical interface with the operational team, pass all relevant information to the team and assist them to carry out the maintenance work.
• Delegate the timely implementation of approved modifications and ensure that the configuration status of equipment and mechanical setup is up to date and technically managed.
• Own the technical knowledge of a various security system for data gathering, engineering/automation reports, technical discussion with end user/clients and root cause analysis.
• Pro-active involvement and attendance of operational meetings to understand automated processing and how best to overlay maintenance plans, sharing output with other engineers and technicians.
• Regularly audit necessary maintenance tasks ensuring the integrity and reliability of equipment.
• Ensure technical resource provision to meet maintenance plan and operational processing requirements in liaison with engineering and operational team leaders.
• Maintenance QHSE and customer care standards as per company policy.
• Make sure complete and timely backup is taken for all the work
• Routinely meeting with customers to address any issues related to installation of systems, services and to renew the contract’s.
• Generating new business for maintenance (comprehensive + preventive + one time).
• Responsible for creating AMC costing comprehensive and no- comprehensive, ADHOC costing/quotation, technical proposal, commercial proposal, compliance statement, review/finalize considering Both technical and commercial impact.
• Responsible for ensuring yearly and monthly maintenance revenue, invoicing and collection as per the targets and agreed forecast.
• Restricting material consumptions for comprehensive maintenance within the agreed percentage.
• Managing the store and maintenance material stock in/out and updating the stock plans to ensure the movement of the stock
• Ensure delivery of services to the clients as per their expectations and in accordance with the contractual obligations, thus contributing to the growth of the Company
• Manage and implement laid down Policies, Systems and Procedures for smooth conduct of Sales and Implementations with the specific aim of providing high quality service to our clients across the country.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Director of Operations.

Selection Criteria

• An Engineering degree holder in Electrical, Electronics or its equivalents
• Minimum 8-10 years experience with 3-5 years experience in handling maintenance of various security systems like CCTV, access control systems, etc.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of Security Systems like Access Control, CCTV, network infrastructure, VMS, Intercom, Gate barrier, HVMs, Intruder Alarm, etc.
• Project execution with an understanding of project reports and operational controls
• Experience in network maintenance
• Good working knowledge of MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD and MS Projects.
• Should have acumen to diagnose breakdown problems and work out the solution
• Should have good understanding of best practices adopted for maintenance services delivery
• Knowledge of local laws will be required,
• Must possess strong execution acumen
• Knowledge of salesforce will be an added advantage
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Valid UAE Driving license
