A recruiter is seeking a Finance Manager

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, tax laws and financial regulations specific to UAE market. As a key member of their senior team you will be responsible for managing financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and ensuring compliance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Hands-on experience with accounting operations, financial reporting (IFRS), book closing procedures (monthly and yearly), budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop budgets, make financial decisions, and allocate resources in alignment with organizational policies and procedures and mentor other finance and accounting professionals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Maintain meticulous records for financial analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Stay updated on current regulations, tax laws, and accounting practices relevant to the U.A.E. market.
  • Provide training to new and existing team members to enhance their financial acumen.
  • Oversee periodic analytical and reporting activities, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Advise the General Manager on financial management matters, offering strategic insights a recommendations.
  • Manage monthly and yearly financial statements and budgets, conducting monthly and quarterly forecasting and variance analysis.
  • Monitor the financial performance of properties to ensure profitability and adherence to budget targets.
  • Update property records for existing and potential tenants, maintaining accurate financial data.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to prepare reports, financial statements, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Prepare schedules, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
  • Proficient in using accounting software packages, particularly Excel, for financial projections and forecasting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint, to facilitate communication and reporting.


Salary:

AED 39,000 to 43,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements


  • Chartered Accountant qualification, preferably with ICA certification.
  • Expertise in U.A.E. tax laws and regulations, as well as familiarity with Central Bank guidelines.
  • In-depth understanding of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) and proficient in accounting practices.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience as Head of Finance or similar leadership roles.
  • Preferably ICA qualified to enhance credibility and proficiency.
