A recruiter is seeking a Vice President /Head of Local Manufacturing plant in Tehran, Iran

Location: Tehran, Iran (with possibility for base in Dubai, United Arab Emirates)

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Vice President to oversee and lead our manufacturing operations in Iran.

The position can be based out of Dubai, with regular travels to the site in Iran. The role does not only offer the chance to make a significant impact on our operations in Iran but also serves as a stepping stone to a promising international career within the organisation.

The position

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall performance of a modern site, which employs 130 people and uses state-of-the-art technology to produce life-changing medicines for patients. You will ensure the achievement of business objectives, compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintenance of a strong safety and quality culture. You will be part of Local Manufacturing management, a team of senior leaders responsible for all local manufacturing operations in the organisation within diabetes care. You will have the following key responsibilities:

• Manage site operations, including production, quality, supply chain, and engineering.
• Ensure deliveries of agreed volume and product mix in compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
• Foster a strong safety culture, ensuring the safety of employees, contractors, and visitors to the site.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring site processes are optimized and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the local Novo Nordisk sales affiliate, local authorities, and external business partners.
• Collaborate with and learn from other organisation manufacturing sites.
