Mechanical Design Engineer

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Creating computer models of products that can be used to produce molds for casting metals or plastics - Reviewing blueprints, drawings, or other design specifications to determine how to translate them into molds - Analyzing materials to determine their suitability for mold construction, such as porosity or thermal conductivity - Determining the type of material needed to create the mold and calculating its size and shape - Designing molds using computer software programs, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks - Perform all the activities related to assigned tasks including preparation of drawings, BOM, schematics and mechanical drawings. - Technical studies and review for orders in hand to be sure that all specification is strictly followed. - Job holder should cautiously monitor the department Key performance indicators such as FPY and COPQ, continuous monitoring and analysis are of the main responsibilities of the job holder. Refining the criteria of measurements is also key parameter of performance. - Job holder might be subjected to perform techno-commercial studies for selected offers. - Monitoring production processes to ensure that quality standards are fulfilled - Ensuring that products meet functional requirements by designing molds with required features - Working with production & Customers to determine needs and requirements, such as material specifications, product details, and production schedules
  
  
  

Qualifications For The Role

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
• 0-5 years of experience in a medium-high range company focus on design and production as mechanical engineer.
• Good Knowledge of production process, material selection
• Strong experience as user of Solidworks with advanced level including Sheet Metal & plastic mold design.
• Sheet Metal & Plastic manufacturing Techniques, Metal work and Metal Forming Process, good experience with Engineering Material selection.
• Experience with metal work and metal forming (turning, milling , die forging ....)
• Solid Experience with plastic mold design
• Solid Experience with sheet metal die design
• Ability to work in team, precision, and analytical skills.
• Good Communication Skills
• Job holder should be extremely innovative to acquire the required knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge in Microsoft office, communication skills, ability to work under pressure, ability to work in teams, self-motivation, respond positively to challenges.
