Health And Safety Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Officer to join our team. As a Health and Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment for all employees, as well as compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to minimize risks and create a safe work environment.
• Provide training to employees on health and safety policies and procedures, including emergency response procedures.
• Investigate and report on accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with management and department heads to ensure compliance with safety requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with new regulations and industry best practices to proactively address safety concerns.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Health and Safety Officer or a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of OSHA and other relevant health and safety regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for identifying safety hazards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for conducting training and investigations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and other safety management software.
