Job Summary

A Messenger collects and distributes letters and parcels by hand. They may deal with valuable documents or items that need to be delivered safely and sometimes urgently. A Collector conducts field collections, bank errands and demand letter delivery collections.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Delivery of all invoices, once it`s handed over from Collection Officer.
  • Delivery and collection of customs documents from clients.
  • Submitting customs documents to agent for making bill of entry for clearance of items.
  • Collection and delivery of Service contracts from clients as per the advice from sales department.
  • Collection of cheque from customers as per the advice from Chief Collection
  • Officer/ Asst. Collection Officer/Sales representatives.
  • All kinds of banking jobs; dropping cheques, withdrawal cheques, bank guarantee, Telegraphic transfer/ Short Term Loan/ Standing Instruction etc.
  • Collection and clearance of shipments from port and customs.
  • Store purchases from local market on demand.
  • Responsible of day to day outdoor jobs for collection and delivery of required official documents
  • Any additional job if required by Management.
  • Responsible to check P.O Box of SamTech on daily basis.
  • Office Pantry/Stationary items purchase on demand.
  • Managing electronic communication channels, including what’s app, instant messaging/calling, internal communication tools.
  • Responding to messages, forwarding important information to the relevant parties.
  • may also be required to assist with various administrative tasks as needed. This could include filing documents, scanning, purchasing office supplies, and providing general support to the team
  • Any other work-related task assigned by the HoD/Management and HR that may arise.

Key Skills

  • Previous experience in similar role.
  • Proficiency in English Language
  • Ability to deal with transactions from different stakeholders (suppliers, customers & employees) and can manage them.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good organizational skills and ability to work to deadline.
  • Good understanding of Dubai roads and ability to use Google Maps
  • Must be aware road rules of Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Sharjah and other emirates roads.
  • Must be quick and energetic.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Disciplined, reliable and trustworthy
  • Ability to work and collaborate with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies
