Head of Chain Performance and Process Improvement

Job Purpose

Ensure timely delivery of quality materials while optimizing costs. Manage activities related to material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, or receiving. Improve System efficiency and Supply chain processes.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Analyze and present maintenance cost, repairs cost, manpower cost and work order analysis.
  • Support in invoices process validation, tackling customer’s claims and provide technical justification.
  • Create integrated processes among Operations, Maintenance, Purchasing, Logistics, and finance.
  • Act as owner for the planning/replenishment process.
  • Develop Supply Chain KPIs, analyze data and results within KPIs and present them to the Head of department in line with the objective to improve operational and strategic decisions.
  • Coordinates development of solutions to complex supply Chain support problems with other support functions, Data Engineering, finance, and IT.
  • Measure the full supply chain performance against goals on regular basis and present results to management.
  • Work Closely with Stock engineer and Inventory Control team to develop all supply chain needed reports, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Support the overall SC operational excellence.
  • Analyze actual transactions, Identify & implement continuous improvement (Improving MRP parameters, lead time, removing barriers, etc...).
  • Optimizing MRP parameters according to history and actual spare parts’ consumption.
  • Support in the annual SC and Maintenance Budgets.
  • Work closely with CMMS and data engineering to update, improve, and develop new reports on the system.
  • Guide the team to get the optimal results and reduce waste through implementing lean tools.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

  • Keen ability to details and ability to effectively manage time.
  • 7+ years of experience relevant to Inventory Management, Planning, Inventory control, Supply Chain and operations KPIs, and Performance Management.
  • Good knowledge with Supply chain KPIs.
  • Costing and budgeting
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Good knowledge with CMMS (Preferably Maximo).
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Very good Knowledge of English language verbal and written.
  • Ability to identify errors and prepare corrective actions.
