Job Description

Protectol Health is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Store Officer to oversee the management and operations of our warehouse in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain operations within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. This role is vital for ensuring the efficient and accurate handling of our products, maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting the overall supply chain strategy of the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
  • Ensure the warehouse layout and storage practices comply with safety regulations and optimize space utilization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock accuracy.
  • Coordinate order processing, picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Work closely with the sales teams to address any order-related issues.
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers.
  • Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and improve delivery times.
  • Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of all warehouse activities, including receipts, shipments, and inventory transactions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in warehouse and inventory management.
  • Utilize data and metrics to monitor performance and drive operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or supply chain operations, preferably in the pharmaceutical or retail industry.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management and warehouse operations.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
