The Specialist Planning and Performance in Mining at ADNOC is a key role responsible for overseeing the planning and performance of mining operations within the company. The individual will be responsible for conducting analysis, creating plans and strategies, and providing performance insights to optimize the mining operations and ensure efficient and cost-effective production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the long-term and short-term mining plans, including production scheduling, material movement, and equipment utilization to meet production targets.
  • Conduct regular performance analysis and assessment of mining activities, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, engineers, and operations personnel to ensure alignment and coordination of planning and performance goals.
  • Utilize advanced data analysis and modelling techniques to forecast production trends, identify potential risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on mining performance, including key performance indicators, operational metrics, and recommendations for improvement and optimization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimization, technology adoption, and best practices implementation to streamline mining operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards in all mining activities.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to the mining team, including training and development programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field Master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining operations, with a focus on planning and performance management.
  • Proven expertise in mine planning software, advanced data analysis tools, and performance management systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data and information.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Knowledge of project management principles and practices
  • Professional certifications in mining engineering or related field are a plus.
