About The Job

Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate the stock team to achieve high performance, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Provide training, coaching, and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven work environment.

Team Performance:

  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, setting clear objectives and expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Recognize and reward high performance, addressing any performance issues promptly.
  • Promote teamwork and a customer-focused culture within the stock team.

Job responsibilities

Stock Management/KPIs:

  • Oversee all aspects of stock control, including receiving, storing, and distributing merchandise.
  • Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Implement and maintain efficient stockroom organization and processes.
  • Monitor and analyze stock-related KPIs, such as inventory turnover, stock accuracy, shrinkage & shopsoiled rates, orders and reverses.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve stock management KPIs.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the head office to align stock management practices with overall business goals.
  • Communicate regularly with the FOH team to understand stock needs and support sales operations.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient stock flow between the stockroom and the sales floor.
  • Participate in meetings and provide insights on stock management to the head office and FOH team.
