Job Description:

A highly motivated and experienced Advisor in Business Development - Mining to join our team at ADNOC. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify and develop new opportunities within the mining sector, with a focus on strategic partnerships and investments that align with ADNOC’s business objectives. The Advisor Business Planning will be responsible for providing strategic and financial guidance to senior management in order to make informed business decisions and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential business opportunities in the mining sector, including exploration, extraction, and processing of minerals and metals.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the mining industry, including government agencies, mining companies, and industry associations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to assess the feasibility and financial viability of potential investments and partnerships in the mining sector.
  • Develop and present business cases for proposed mining projects, including market assessments, risk analysis, and including short-term and long-term financial projections.
  • Support the negotiation and execution of partnerships, joint ventures, and other business agreements in the mining sector.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing mining investments and partnerships and identify opportunities for optimization and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g. CFA, CPA) preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development, investment analysis, or project management, preferably within the mining industry.
  • Strong understanding of the mining sector, including knowledge of relevant regulations, market dynamics, and key players in the industry.
  • Proven ability to identify and evaluate business opportunities, and to develop and execute successful business strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex business situations and make informed decisions.
