Cyber Security Analyst

Seeking a cybersecurity analyst to join our team. responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents to ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data.

Key responsibilities:

Monitor security events and alerts from various sources

Analyze and investigate security incidents and anomalies

Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans

Implement and maintain security controls and measures

Respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner

Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures

Collaborate with it teams to implement security best practices

Stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities

Provide security awareness training to staff and end users

Participate in cybersecurity audits and assessments

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in information security, computer science, or related field

Years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices

Experience with security monitoring and incident response tools

Knowledge of security standards and regulations (e.g., nist, iso/iec 27001, gdpr)

Relevant certifications such as cissp, cism, or ceh preferred

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
