SOKNA is immediately hiring Senior Accountant with the following responsibilities & requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and analyze Profit and Loss (P&L) statements to assess financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
Handle all aspects of tax compliance, including preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring timely payments, and responding to tax inquiries and audits.
Oversee the end-of-year closing process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and resolve any discrepancies. and reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes by providing financial insights and analysis.
Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and trends.
Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and provide guidance on best practices.
Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support in their professional development.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent.
At least 5 years of experience in accounting, proven experience as a Financial Controller, Accounting Supervisor, chief or senior accountant
Deep knowledge of accounting and tax regulations.
In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Familiarity with financial accounting statements
Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
Preferred experience in Real Estate financials.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Organized, accurate, and detail oriented.
Strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
