As a Senior Embedded Linux SW Engineer, you will develop and deploy high-performance software that is responsible for operating our autonomous feed truck that delivers feed to cattle. You will help steer and execute the technical strategy for our middleware development, communication layers, and Linux OS kernels. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to ensure safe, reliable, and repeatable operation of our autonomy stack in the real world.
Candidates must be Fluent in English, and have a minimum of 3 years experience directly in embedded linux for the automotive domain.
Start date for this position would be on or around September 1st.
In this role, you will:
· Collaborate in developing custom Linux images tailored for our autonomy algorithms and our hardware.
· Ensure real-time software operation and execute vulnerability and safety checks.
· Develop low-level hardware drivers for our sensors and actuators.

· Extensive software engineering experience in C/C++
· Extensive experience building custom Linux OS with Yocto, Kas, etc.
· Extensive experience with AUTOSAR.
· Extensive experience with ASPICE and other automotive standards.
· Experience with automotive cybersecurity.
· Experience with automotive Ethernet, GMSL2, CAN, Flex-Ray, etc.
· Experience with OTA updates for the automotive domain.
· Experience with ROS is a plus
Education and Experience:
· Degree in Computer/Mechatronics/Communication Engineering, CS, or equivalent.
· 3+ years in a Software Engineering role directly in automotive embedded Linux.
