Category Manager - UAE

Category Management

  • In-depth understanding global and regional beverages, food and dairy/plant-based customers and consumers (from B2B and B2C marketing point-of-view)
  • Spotting key market trends, consumer shopping requirements/insights and (innovation) needs as key input and guidance provider for i.e. for product marketing and SIG market strategy
  • Expert knowledge and technical category and value chain understanding globally and regionally (industry knowledge) to formulate business needs and category strategies/plans
  • Supports to build strategic partnership within industry (Ecosystem from ingredient supply & upstream providers)
  • Supports in executing cross-functional strategic initiatives (e.g. expansion & deployment plan for SIG TechCenters)
  • Developing and localizing Category presentations.
  • Work with cluster marketing managers on innovation launching plans.
  • Support customers on recipe insights and development.

Innovation Hub:

  • Drive business and revenue stream from innovation hub.
  • manage and present innovation hub.
  • Train key stakeholders and management on how to use and narrate innovation story.
  • Build collaboration with thinktanks, venture capital, ingredients companies…etc to scout for new innovations.
  • Build SIG innovation academy for customers.

SIG TechCenter

  • Test Filling: coordinate all test fillings and promote among global team.
  • Co-packing Network: build comprehensive network and identify co-packing gaps. Work with clusters to identify opportunities.
