An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fitness Instructor join our Rixos The Palm team. To provide efficient service to the guests & maintains the overall efficiency of standards set.

What You Will Be Doing

• To ensure the audio-visual equipment is well maintained and in good condition.
• To ensure that Maintenance Gymnasium equipment forms are up to date and implement preventative maintenance programs if necessary.
• To be fully aware of current and future services offered by the hotel and to make suggestions for improvement, expansion or creation of new services.
• To remain up to date with local and international trends in the health and leisure services through internet, magazines and other applicable media.
• To manage the fitness center retail area, inclusive of stock control, inventory and sales
• To manage the fitness center and sports facilities, inclusive of other outdoor and indoor leisure programs.
• To ensure high standards of cleanliness in the department
• To develop and implement personalized exercise programs for guests who request private sessions and for those who would benefit from personal instruction.
• To provide one-to-one Personal Training when required.
• To provide Fitness Consultations for arriving guests.
  
  

Your Experience And Skills Include

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Fitness Instructor or similar is an asset
• Education/Certification in Fitness related activities/personal training or similar
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal required
• Pleasant personality and positive attitude
