KAIZEN Asset Management Services, a leading property management firm in Dubai, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant at Kaizen, you will play a key role in managing the financial operations of our organization and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

You will be responsible for overseeing the general accounting functions, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing support to the finance team. Your strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

    • Manage and oversee the general accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
    • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
    • Analyze financial data and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and reconciliation of accounts.
    • Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
    • Collaborate with the finance team to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
    • Coordinate and liaise with auditors and tax consultants during audits and tax filings.
    • Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and accruals.
    • Assist with financial analysis and ad hoc reporting as required.
    • Stay updated on accounting regulations and changes in accounting standards.

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or ACCA certification is preferred.
    • Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
    • Experience with property management or real estate industry is a plus.
    • Knowledge of VAT regulations and compliance is preferred.
    • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs.
