Are you ready to exert your customer, shopper, and business insights to bring us competitive advantages and maximized profitability? If so, you could become our new Area Sales Lead for our Abu dhabi and Alain markets and you will report to our Channel Head Traditional Trade.

As the new Area Sales Lead, you will deliver the Sales Target, and Develop Sales and Distribution Fundamentals. To manage the day-to-day sales operation and supervise a team of Sales Reps in the assigned area in a responsible manner in accordance to set targets, business plans, and Arla standards.

You will be responsible for

  • You will directly lead a team of Sr Sales representatives, Sales representatives, and Van Sales. You will be required to organize, supervise, and coach members of the sales team, making sure that all set targets are consistently met.
  • Responsible for ensuring that pre sellers visit all customers as per route plans and that orders have been booked accordingly
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships. Propose and initiates display agreements with customers.
  • To frequently go on route riding with pre sellers to observe, learn, teach / train / coach on site and establish pre seller & customer relations
  • Conduct periodical sales meetings internally and externally. Analyze sales data and report findings to superiors. Keep track of client information, and forecast future trends.
  • Ensure that the promotion plans are communicated to the customers and sales staff and correctly implemented. Take steps to improve the visibility of products.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all payments / collections have been done on time. Where there are issues, he is responsible for checking payments status for customers, liaising with accounts, attending to all outstanding payment issues and taking the necessary corrective actions without delay
  • Responsible for ensuring that company assets / equipment are used exclusively for Arla products – no abuse / misuse
  • Control market return within the agreed limit
  • Responsible for solving all problems that pre sellers face and liaising with the relevant departments to ensure the problems are solved as soon as possible

Ideal Candidate for the role

  • A Sales experience of at least 4 years within the FMCG in traditional trade.
  • People management experience of 2- 3 years.
  • Ability to motivate and lead others.
  • Capable of managing a diversified team.
  • An expert in understanding the sales market and trends.
  • Analytical skills and an aptitude for figures.
  • Excellent negotiator.
  • Willingness to take a calculated risk.
  • UAE driving license.
