Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Greet visitors to the showroom, giving directions, answering questions, providing informational materials, general application or admission forms, etc.
- May sort and distribute mail, stuff envelopes and route out-going mail and operate one or more copying and/or duplicating machines.
- File correspondences and other records.
- Advise visitors of approximate duration of their wait and see that they are made comfortable.
- Answer phone system or switchboard, relaying calls, answering questions, taking messages, and making appointments. May place calls as requested.
- Perform light typing duties, the subject material of which may vary from correspondence and reports to form letters, record cards and list maintenance.
- Prepare and/or maintain files of some type of records or folders such as job applications, general information materials, etc.
- Maintain the general appearance of the waiting room or reception area, watering plants and straightening magazines, chairs and other light furniture.
- May accommodate visitors to the office as directed by making reservations for travel, lodging and meals, by setting up meetings and making such other contacts as advised.
- May fill in for principal clerical staff on a relief basis, performing duties normally assigned to the position until no longer required.
- Communicate to the Brand Manager any problems encountered in the performance of the entrusted duties.
- Perform other duties as requested by the Brand Manager.
