Finance Manager

Great opportunity to manage end-to-end accounting process for Etihad loyalty program, ensuring processes are implemented according to internal policies and industry best practices. Execute, review and communicate results of complex accounting activities to stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop a thorough understanding of the business and program by working closely with Business and Financial Planning and Analysis teams to support them on the accounting and reporting process
• Review current business processes in relation to loyalty programs and identify opportunities for automation and bring efficiency
• Monthly review of all related party transactions and accounts and liaising with the internal team leads for account reconciliation and reporting.
• Monthly closing of identified subsidiary books (includes review of profit or loss and balance sheet and comparison between actual figures and budgeted figures)
• Work closely with Investor Relations team to ensure timely and accurate reporting

Who we are looking for

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with Chartered Accountant or ACCA or equivalent qualification is required.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience (knowledge of aviation pax reservation systems is an advantage and experience with loyalty program accounting is essential).
• SAP Experience would be advantageous
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint
• Excellent English communication (Verbal and Written)
