Consultant Surgical Oncologist

As a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at SearchPlus HR, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality surgical care to patients with cancer.

As a Consultant Surgical Oncologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing cancer through surgical interventions. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, implement state-of-the-art surgical techniques, and contribute to improving patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients' medical history, symptoms, and conduct thorough clinical examinations
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies, imaging studies, and laboratory tests
• Discuss treatment options with patients and develop personalized surgical treatment plans
• Perform surgical procedures to remove cancerous tumors, lymph nodes, and other affected tissues
• Coordinate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including medical oncologists and radiation oncologists, to ensure comprehensive cancer care
• Manage post-operative care, monitor patients' progress, and address any complications or side effects
• Participate in tumor board meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to review complex cases
• Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in surgical oncology through continuous learning and professional development
