Job Description

NOV Drilling and Intervention is looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our team and help us achieve our sales targets and expand our customer base. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding the relationships with strategically important customers. Assigned to several key accounts, the Sales Account Manager is expected to achieve sales targets by providing exceptional service and innovative solutions tailored to the clients' needs. This role requires a deep understanding of the company’s products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

Account Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within assigned accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and effectively.

Sales Strategy And Execution

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and work to convert them into long-term partnerships.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Client Support And Relationship Building

  • Provide clients with product and service information, support, and training as needed.
  • Resolve any issues or problems faced by clients and deal with complaints to maintain trust.
  • Regularly update clients on new products, services, and enhancements.

Market Analysis And Reporting

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
  • Prepare regular reports on account status, sales activity, and market conditions.
  • Provide feedback to the internal team on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to customer management and sales.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of strategies and goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 5 years’ minimum experience in Sales with oilfield related activities
  • Team building and leadership
  • Proven experience as a Sales Account Manager or in a similar sales role.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Arabic speaking
