Job Description

The job-holder is required to partner with Retail business , adhere accounting policy adherence/ governance and delivering key initiatives related to EI RBWM ;

The job holder will provide support in ensuring the following:

  • Project support for RBWM Financing book e.g., FinnOne Data Migration complete support in liaison with Tanfeeth provided support / Finacle RA core consolidation support, support for deal investigation from Finacle, configurations & maintenance in FinOne & Financle and UAT review and recon. Assist with Non – EMI receivables provisioning in Risk Systems.
  • MARS related substantiation/clean ups and ongoing review for RBWM accounts
  • AA project – quantification and system /set up support, Assist in UAT and model confirmations.
  • Project support-CPR and other ongoing automation projects with EI RBWM.
  • Branch Closure projects/Closed SOL clean ups
  • Group reporting dashboards and ad hoc requirements from Group.
  • Support on Business finance queries and assignments and review of certain business proposals / initiatives.
  • Post Implementation review exercise
  • Accounting plan preparation and reviews
  • Resolution of Deal level Queries from FinnOne/Finacle Ops teams
  • Investigation of P&L variances/movements
  • To assist with data abstracts validation for business proposal and review of the proposals
  • Review the progress of initiatives and provide continuous milestone updates to stakeholders on RBWM projects.
  • To oversee remediation & closure of issues related to Finance Systems.

Project / stakeholder management

  • Driving Performance and realizing cost saves
  • Ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Project scope management
  • Manage project risks and issues.
  • Partnership with IT / Business / Group Fin Services unit
  • Manage EI Finance projects

Manage initiatives for EI Finance and contribute to EI RBWM BFM responsibilities as a key system and process expert

  • Manage projects for EI finance - Ensure the objectives of the initiatives are met and all the stakeholders are engaged.
  • Help Review and Drive the decision making of various stakeholders to ensure success of the project.
  • Support in PIR and investment policy process
  • Collaborate with AA COE team for use-case review and support to business

Finance Systems design and implementation

  • Outline to-be Finance Systems architecture road-map.
  • Act as knowledge factory, recommend best practices in reporting, analysis and recommendations to the business units to develop strategies, measure performance and make relevant business decisions that create business growth.

Substantiation and Documentation / financial control and governance

  • Ensure governance across financial control and reconciliations.
  • Ensure accounting plans for all Retail products are maintained and up to date.
  • Identify and close potential control gaps/ leakages across RBWM business processes/
  • To ensure comprehensiveness of project & process documentation and substantiation of balances,
  • Resolve queries from internal and business side on MARs and other ad hoc requirements.

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Chartered Accountant or MBA Finance
  • A Graduate with adequate finance related experience can also be considered on case to case basis. Essential
  • 5 to 12 years of experience
  • Banking experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Finance Systems and best practices
  • Knowledge in MIS and Finance Systems
