E-Commerce Development Manager

As such, we are looking for a passionate E-Commerce Development Manager to join our dynamic team to work on exciting brands.

As the E-Commerce Development Manager, you will work closely with the Head of Growth - eCommerce to develop and execute on online activation strategies to acquire and retain consumers, optimize conversion rates, and drive revenue growth and market share. This role will require working closely with the marketing and commercial development teams in the clusters and in HQ - as well as the eCommerce teams in the clusters.

A Day in the Life…

  • Develop with the Head of eCommerce growth and execute comprehensive online growth strategies that align with overall category goals and objectives while optimizing for conversion funnels, user experience, and customer journeys to maximize sales and retention.
  • Develop and execute on retail digital media campaigns across multiple online platforms across the funnel.
  • Execute on tactics to attract and acquire new customers and develop strategies to retain and engage shoppers & consumers, including lifecycle marketing, loyalty programs and personalized messaging.
  • Identify and execute on new opportunities to increase sales and market share on marketplace platforms through the implementation of growth strategies based on data and insights.
  • Implement the Digital strategy by the business units and clusters by accelerating online performance on the following:
    • ensure social platform activation to drive sales via web-engine search and eRetailers
    • Media on eRetailers: partner with the Digital Team to define and continuously improve Media Approach and Audience measurements (targeting, reach and frequency, Brand/Sales ROI), supporting media plan implementation on key eRetailers
    • Execute targeting and data partnerships with retailers (Audience sharing, data led targeting).
  • Ensure eCommerce content accuracy and quality by monitoring compliance and performance of digital content vs. defined standards and target.
  • Identify gaps and outline winning practices and supporting tools to define content optimization plan and implementation with key online eRetailers.
  • Track, measure, and analyze the performance of online campaigns and initiatives (acquisition, activation, and retention).
  • Use insights to optimize strategies and tactics for better results.
  • Prepare and communicate regular reports on growth metrics and performance to marketing teams in HO and in clusters.

What Will Make You Successful…

  • More than 4 years’ experience in marketing and sales, and over this period has successfully delivered on KPIs, especially top and bottom-line business results
  • Experience in retail digital media (amazon ads etc.)
  • Key Account Management
  • Leads eRetailer Key Account team
  • Understands all sales functions i.e. CDT, eRetailer
  • Has demonstrated success in a few diverse sales roles
  • Depth Digital/eCommerce knowledge
  • Ability to work on end-to-end approach (understanding Marketing, Sales
  • and Supply Chain).
  • Solid marketing and sales experience in managing the traditional/offline business
  • eBusiness Expertise
