Role Purpose

Provide administrative support, and to ensure labour law and tax standards compliance within BC Education Service LLC, Egypt. To contribute to the development and implementation of efficient and effective fiscal, taxation and HR practices, systems, and policies;

Main Accountabilities

  • Delivers a range of administrative services within agreed local legislation and tax guidance, as well as corporate procedures to maximise quality, continuity and efficiency for BC Education Service LLC, Egypt
  • Manages Social Insurance and ensures timely communication with Social Insurance / Tax representative/consultants on enrolments / cancellations and reconciliation for both LLC and branch.
  • Acts as the point of contact for the Manage Service Provider for pre-payroll and between Finance and the External Payroll Provider for payroll and completes any statutory reporting as required for both LLC and Branch
  • Within the role remit maintains accurate HR information/records on HR related platforms (e.g. Social Insurance, MyHR Open Text, HR SharePoint,. etc.) and drafts routine and some non-standard documentations and reports.
  • Performs straightforward analysis, manipulation and interpretation of data, tasks or information, presenting findings accurately and appropriately to support effective maintenance of management information systems.
  • Prepares and signs non financial letters for LLC staff as required and coordinates with relevant Delegated Authorities on signing LLC and Branch financial staff letters.
  • Reports any non-compliance issues related to labour law / TACOS / policies / procedures.
  • Coordinates the health insurance for all employees in LLC
  • Responds to specific queries related to onboarding and offboarding from the Managed Service Provider for LLC and branch

Stakeholder support

  • Receives and responds to enquiries to/from stakeholders and is a point of reference for HR related queries e.g. Social Insurance, tax, pre-payroll, payroll, medical claims, etc. Identifies where more complex issues require resolution by others and refers them on accordingly
  • Recognises and understands the impact of incidents arising (e.g., complaints, resourcing problems, logistical or technical difficulties) and proactively alerts the concerned team to any issues that are likely to impact service delivery

Relationship & stakeholder management

  • Proactively communicates and liaises with others (inside and outside the BC Education Service LLC) to ensure effective coordination and delivery of services
  • Builds an understanding of who’s who within the wider department, unit or region to enable effective resolution of issues when they arise.

About You (essential Requirements For The Role)

  • Demonstrable subject knowledge of labour law, Social security, etc in Egypt
  • English - spoken and written English at B2 level.
  • Arabic - spoken and written Arabic at B2 level

Desirable Requirements

  • Recent experience working in a context similar to the BC Education srevice LLC
  • Experience collaborating and working with teams both virtually and in-person
  • First degree in Human Resources or a relevant professional HR qualification
  • Relevant masters/post graduate qualification
