Jadeer is hiring on behalf of one of our clients in Egypt, our client is, established in 2006, and is a key player in the energy sector with divisions in gas, power, petroleum, and water. Specializing in transmission, renewable energy, and water treatment, they operate in the UAE, Qatar, Libya, and across Africa, they're in search of an HR Business Partner to join their team.

Job Title: HR Business Partner

Scope: As an HR Business Partner (HRBP), you will help to bridge the gap between the employees and management in specific business units, ensuring everyone's goals are aligned. You will act as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, advocating for employees while driving positive change. Your role involves understanding and anticipating HR needs, and creating solutions that benefit both the team and the organization.

Responsibilities:

Talent Management:

  • Support managers in identifying and developing talent, providing coaching and guidance on performance management.
  • Facilitate talent review and calibration sessions to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention.

Strategic HR Planning:

  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Provide HR guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on all HR-related matters.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough and objective investigations as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Performance Management:

  • Drive the performance management process, ensuring alignment with business objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Provide guidance on setting performance goals, conducting appraisals, and developing action plans for improvement.

Training & Development:

  • Identify training needs and partner with the Learning & Development team to implement programs that support business objectives.
  • Facilitate leadership development programs and succession planning initiatives.

Change Management:

  • Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and adoption of new processes and systems.
  • Act as a change agent, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

HR Metrics & Reporting:

  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and insights, making recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and present reports on HR activities and outcomes to senior leadership.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Collaborate with the Compensation & Benefits team to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into HR strategies and practices.

Compliance & Best Practices:

  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.
  • Provide input on compensation reviews and assist with benefits administration.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4 + years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, talent management, and strategic HR planning.
  • Previous experience in oil & gas, renewable energy, or any related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office applications.
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.
