Job profile:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of an operations project. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive project plan to streamline our current processes . Your expertise in project management, process improvement, and warehouse operations will be crucial in delivering this high-impact initiative on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing sorting facility operations to identify opportunities for automation and process optimization
• Research and evaluate various automated sorting solutions, technologies, and vendors to recommend the most suitable system for our warehouse
• Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, resource requirements, and risk mitigation strategies
• Manage the procurement, installation, and testing of the new automated sorting system
• Collaborate cross-functionally with warehouse, logistics, IT, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and implementation
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to executive leadership
• Develop and execute a comprehensive change management plan to facilitate the adoption of the new automated processes by warehouse staff
• Manage the project budget and ensure cost-effective delivery of the initiative
• Oversee the training of warehouse personnel on the operation and maintenance of the new automated sorting system
• Measure and monitor the performance of the automated sorting system, and make adjustments as needed to optimize efficiency
  
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex logistics or warehouse automation projects
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, and automation technologies
• Proficient in project management methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
