Key Responsibilities:

  • Understand and comprehend the SAP module workflow for the assigned functional area. Perform accurate and timely data entry, monitor assigned supply transactions/processes within SAP.
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control checks prior to and during the input of data from source documents/forms. Report discrepancies to the Lead, Warehouse Repairables.
  • Complete all material request/transfer request documents in a timely manner. Research issue/receipt data and resolve transaction differences between paperwork and the SAP record.
  • Use SAP to prepare, print and maintain bar code labels.
  • Understand and facilitate completion of all Supply Department approved forms.
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate document control. Organise all completed source documents/forms with appropriate attachments and file.
  • Prepare documentation and dispose of unserviceable spares or expired items.
  • Run required reports for supervisors and/or managers.
  • Review data for anomalies in bin locations, part numbers, superseded part numbers, duplicate stock numbers, descriptions, units of issue and pricing.
  • Facilitate causative research to determine discrepancies between physical and SAP inventory counts as required by supervisors and/or managers.
  • Abide by all security, safety and company directives.
  • Organise and prioritise work.
  • Be aware of the importance of physical security and the vulnerability of spares in the warehouse.
  • Communicate respectfully with both customers and colleagues.
  • Maintain appropriate housekeeping standards as directed.
  • Ensure all issued tools, test equipment and high-value property is maintained in a serviceable condition, routinely inventoried and safeguarded.
  • Perform “on-call” duties as assigned.
  • Support other members of the Materials Department in fulfilling their roles.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of all company documents.
  • Perform other duties as required by their line manager or the Manager, Materials.

Experience and Education:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience working in the warehousing of repair parts and materials is preferred.
  • Previous military or automotive training is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills are preferred.
  • The ability to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) from 4,000 to 10,000 lbs. is required.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office and experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP is required.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and verbally is required.
  • Have, or be able to obtain a valid UAE driver’s license.
