Job Description

You will be part of MN RBC MEA Cust Eng RAN team, where you will support customers RAN networks from 2G to

5G within a talent and high-performance team, in which open, fearless and empowered are embraced.

You will work directly with PM, customers and colleagues. Your main objective would be, as RAN expert, to support care & deploy

related activities.

Family Description

Customer Services (CS) covers customer service in different areas such as technical support, account support, operations, maintenance, network design / deployment / integration / transformation, and education. Generates revenue and the increase of customer satisfaction through planning, designing, deploying, integrating, optimising, operating, and maintaining phases.

Subfamily Description

Deployment (DEP) comprises the provision of an end-to-end process for the acquisition, construction, implementation / integration, installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance.

How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

What you will learn and contribute to :

  • Provides support to customers onsite and/or remote.
  • Support and perform commissioning and integration of Nokia RAN related hardware.
  • Collect logs and analyze logfiles for nokia RAN ndes i.e NCIR , ASRNC, ASBSC, OMS...
  • Provide technical support per project and customer SLA.
  • Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases and reporting according to processes.
  • Performs day-to-day activates to meet departmental / project objectives (commissioning, integration, system acceptance testing and software upgrade). Requires supervision and coaching from Second Line Manager (SLM) or peers. Gathers relevant information to support problem solving and decision-making.
  • Individual Contributor Participates as individual contributor to team. Makes decisions affecting own work within set parameters, elevates others. Reviews priorities with supervisor. High personal or low collegial interaction.
  • Able to performs all standard and limited non-standard tasks individually or as part of a team.
  • Can solve problems using well-known information sources.
  • Rapidly learns new tasks and understands new information relevant to own job.
  • Owns and manages KPI delivery to exceed contractual requirements.
  • Implementations of new features / Customer Delivery (CD) / system upgrades as per Care / customer requirements.
  • Acceptance test of network elements.
  • Supports project managers with delivery of new network elements and sites.

Key Skills And Experience

Your skills and experience As RAN radio engineer you have:

  • Experience on SRAN (2G/3G/4G/5G) and Nokia Cloud RAN: (NCIR/ Airscale RNC/ Airscale BSC/NADCM)
  • knowledge on OMS, Netact FCAPS
  • Customer problem investigation and support as well case handling and interacting with R&D if needed. Position Requirements:
  • Experience Nokia RAN equipment: SRAN, legacy controllers, OMS and Cloud RAN.
  • Knowledge and practice of RAN upgrade and care related activities.
  • Knowledge and practice of RAN C&I tools - Knowledge of SRAN 5G I&C
  • knowledge IP network and routing
  • problem solving and analytic skills
  • Team player, open communication and ability to work in international team
  • Excellent Communication skills ( English & Arabic )

Knowledge & Experience

specialised or broader knowledge of theory and principles within a professional discipline. Typically 1-2 years directly related experience and a graduate equivalent degree.
