Job Purpose

The CD Finance team is seeking a qualified business partner to support the Mashreq finance team and will be based in Cairo, Egypt.

Customer Development Finance BP, responsible on CD finance operations and partnering our CD team.

Key stakeholders are all CD teams (CCD, Shopper and Customer Marketing, CD excellence, CD channel managers), Order to Cash team, Category Finance BP, Control teams and CCBT’s.

Job responsibilities

  • Financial Planning & Analysis for channel P&L
  • Responsible for trade discounts
  • Trade discounts management and governance
  • Promotion evaluation pre and post
  • High complexity of relationship management
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High level of problem-solving nature and variety of problems, potential risk, competitor challenges
  • Strong sense of responsibility and proactive mindset
  • Long task horizon needed to assess the impact of the decisions for which the role is responsible.
  • Be able to work under (time) pressure.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or relevant fields
  • 1-3 years substantial professional experience in positions of financial analyst, control, business partnering, consultancy with a proven track record of responsibility for financial analysis.
  • Demonstrated strong written, presentation, and communications skills in English and ability to synthesize and present information effectively and tailored to different audiences.
  • Excellent business judgment and problem-solving skills to identify issues, present creative, practical solutions, and make and commit to sound decisions, anticipating short- and long-term implications.
  • High degree of diplomacy and sensitivity in dealing with different kind of stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
