SearchPlus HR is a highly regarded HR solutions provider currently seeking a Specialist Consultant Rheumatologist to join our team. As a Specialist Consultant Rheumatologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with rheumatic diseases.
In this role, you will evaluate patients, order and interpret diagnostic tests, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide ongoing care. Your expertise in rheumatology will contribute to the improved quality of life for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' medical history, symptoms, and perform comprehensive rheumatologic examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work, imaging studies, and joint aspirations
- Diagnose and treat a variety of rheumatic diseases, including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, and osteoarthritis/li>
- Create individualized treatment plans based on patients' specific needs and conditions
- Prescribe medications and recommend lifestyle modifications to manage and improve patients' health
- Perform joint aspirations and administer intra-articular injections of medications
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of rheumatology through continuous professional development

- Medical degree and valid license to practice as a Specialist Consultant Rheumatologist
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating various rheumatic diseases
- Thorough knowledge of rheumatology principles, practices, and treatment options
- Proficiency in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interactions with patients and colleagues
