About the Role
As a Pediatric Dentist (Periodontist) Specialist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, preventing, and treating gum diseases and other conditions affecting the supporting structures of the teeth in young patients. You will perform periodontal procedures such as scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement, tailored specifically to pediatric patients. Your expertise and commitment to maintaining optimal oral health for young patients will contribute to improving their overall quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat diseases and conditions affecting the gums and other structures supporting the teeth in pediatric patients
- Provide specialized periodontal procedures for infants, children, and adolescents, including scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
- Evaluate and monitor the progress of periodontal treatments in pediatric patients
- Provide education and guidance on proper oral hygiene and preventive care tailored to pediatric patients and their parents
- Collaborate with other dental specialists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive pediatric dental care
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of pediatric periodontics through continuous learning and professional development

متطلبات الوظيفة
- Dental degree and valid license to practice as a Pediatric Dentist (Periodontist) Specialist
- Specialization and certification in Pediatric Dentistry and Periodontics
- Proven experience in diagnosing and treating periodontal diseases and conditions in pediatric patients
- Strong knowledge of pediatric periodontal procedures, including scaling and root planing, gum grafting, and dental implant placement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with pediatric patients, their parents, and colleagues
- Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple pediatric cases simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a pediatric dental setting
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address complex periodontal cases in pediatric patients
