Raya Foods; one of Raya's subsidiaries is hiring a Lead (Procurement)


What will you do?


  • Develop and implement procurement sourcing strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and determine their suitability for the organization's needs.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and project managers, to understand their requirements and develop sourcing plans accordingly.
  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, as well as monitoring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to obtain the best possible value and ensure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to ensure contracts are legally sound, minimize risks, and protect the organization's interests.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier relationship enhancements.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on criteria such as quality, reliability, pricing, delivery capabilities, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct supplier assessments, including site visits, audits, and performance evaluations, to ensure suppliers meet the organization's standards and requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance and address any contract-related issues or disputes in a timely manner.
  • Foster strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance collaboration, communication, and mutual value creation.

Technical skills

  • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract management
  • Familiarity with supplier evaluation and selection processes, including supplier performance measurement and evaluation techniques
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
