Micah Solutions FZE is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager specialized in the healthcare industry to join our client, a reputable hospital in Abu Dhabi. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a vital role in managing the hospital's procurement processes, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to fulfill the organization's procurement needs and contribute to the smooth functioning of the hospital.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies in line with the hospital's objectives and requirements.
  • Identify and source reliable suppliers, conducting market research, negotiating contracts, and establishing long-term partnerships.
  • Assess the hospital's procurement needs and manage the procurement of various goods and services, including medical supplies, equipment, pharmaceuticals, and services.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contract terms and maintain service quality and reliability.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement appropriate measures to mitigate procurement-related risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as department heads and finance, to understand their procurement needs and provide guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, procurement policies, and ethical standards.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and generate reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement management, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement procedures, best practices, and relevant regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
  • Proven negotiation skills and a track record of successful vendor management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Experience in managing large-scale procurement projects.
