Apply now for the position of Senior Logistics Specialist

Your role:

• Initiating and controlling customs clearance activities for both import and export of consignments, Shipping documents administration, as well as communication with governmental affairs for necessary special approvals for medical and non-medical consignments (ex: MoH approvals, Radiation, Agriculture, Communication ..etc).
• Communicating with different external parties aiming to improve documentation flow and importation cycle time (ex: banks, freight forwarders, shipping lines, courier services, airlines, Siemens Healthineers entities in different countries, embassies, ..etc).
• Ensuring effective communication with key internal stakeholders to boost clearance activities. (ex: Accounting, Treasury, Logistics, Commercials ..etc).
• Ensure agreed KPI with clearance agent are met (clearance invoices received in a timely manner; shipments are customs cleared per the agreed time frame).
• Verify clearance invoices against the agreed rates/contract and Prepare KPI sheets and Invoice cycle for the released shipments before submitting to accounting team.
• Issuing daily, monthly, and quarterly reports to different stakeholders.
  
  

Your expertise:

• Bachelor’s Degree in any Business Discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in a similar discipline.
• Good communication and English skills.
• Ability to deal with different backgrounds.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
