Marine Technical Assistant

Marine Capabilities (Marcap) LLC is seeking a Marine Technical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide support to the Marine Port Engineer and assist in the day-to-day technical operations of our marine fleet.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of marine engines, machinery, and equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of vessels to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the coordination of dry-dockings and repairs.
• Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Assist in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning and painting.
• Assist in conducting sea trials and performance tests.
• Assist in the training of crew members on technical procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of marine engineering principles and practices.
• Experience in the maintenance and repair of marine engines and equipment.
• Basic knowledge of marine safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and expand technical knowledge.
• Valid driver's license.
