Position Overview: We are seeking a proactive Accounts Receivable Accountant to manage all invoicing to insurance companies, oversee payables, and ensure efficient financial operations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent computer skills, strong English proficiency, and the ability to generate comprehensive reports. This role involves building and maintaining relationships with the finance teams at our partnering insurance companies and overseeing petty cash management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices to insurance companies accurately and in a timely manner
  • Ensure all invoicing complies with company policies and client requirements
  • Follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely payment
  • Monitor and manage all payables, ensuring they are in order and paid on time
  • Reconcile payable accounts and resolve any discrepancies
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports as required
  • Provide insights and summaries of financial activities to management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with finance teams at the insurance companies we work with
  • Act as a point of contact for any financial queries from insurance companies
  • Oversee the management of petty cash funds
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of petty cash transactions
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budgets
  • Support the finance team in audits and other financial activities as needed
  • Continuously seek ways to improve financial processes and efficiencies


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the finance or insurance industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
